Curriculum: Visualize World Geography and additional resources

Time: Noon-12:50pm

Information: Students will study world geography using a mnemonics-based curriculum. The shape of each country will be visually turned into a memorable object. Students will be able to recall a country's location, shape, bordering countries, capital, and fun facts. The class will be engaging with hands-on learning opportunities. Students in grades 8 and 9 can do additional assignments outside of class to earn high school credit.  

Cost:  

Supply fee: $30/year ($15/semester) due at registration 

includes handouts, maps, worksheets, binders with tabs, and a geography book. 

Tuition: 

$0 for non-credit seeking 

$80/year ($10 month) high school credit (grades 8 & 9)

Payment Method: Venmo, Paypal, and/or cash

Other: A geography fair is a possibility, if there is enough interest.
