Information: This class will broadly explore the big question: What is art? We will be doing this by looking at a combination of various artists, art concepts, and artistic movements before putting our own art skills to work with projects using a variety of mediums. Artists and concepts include Hokusai, Andy Goldsworthy, Chihuly, Wayne Thiebaud, MC Escher, tessellations, Carravaggio, Rembrandt, Picasso. We'll likely end the year looking at the art of book making.
Cost:
Supply fee: $20/year
Includes - materials for art projects (paper, paints, clay, etc.)
Tuition: $80/year ($10 month)

This class begins January 2027 (Spring semester)
Information: The beginnings of an art club where children can explore their creativity. The children will decide on a name for the club and receive a t-shirt. Through four art projects, the children will express their imagination, build skills, and be encouraged in their artistic skills.

Supply fee: $20/month
Includes Art Club t-shirt and supplies for four projects (rock painting, mini canvases/paint markers, art paper/photo ink, art dice for Club)

Other: Any unused supply costs will be refunded equally among students.
